Vaishno Devi is one of the holiest Hindu shrines, located in the Mountains of Jammu and Kashmir. India, attracts millions of devotees each year. The bus was attacked by terrorists in evening. 9 people were killed in this incident including one four year child and 33 were injured.
The injured was rushed to nearby hospitals, while police rushed to the spot to carry out an investigation. Pakistan-Backed the resistance front (TRF), an offshoot of the jihadist terrorist group . The bus was coming from Shiv Khori temple and was ambushed by the terrorists. The driver lost control of the bus which fell into a gorge resulting in a tragedy. More than 30 people were injured in the attack. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi condemned the attack, adding that it shows the “true picture” of the security situation in J&K. The incident has raised significant security concerns, prompting heightened vigilance and measures to ensure the safety of pilgrims and residents in the area.
